The faculty offers four degree programs: a three-year Bachelor of Laws, a two-year Master of Laws, a two-year Master of International Business Law, and a two-year Master of Global Governance Law. Students can earn a bachelor`s degree [3 years] and a master`s degree [2 years] in law. Students are also offered two postgraduate research degrees, the Bachelor of Laws [2-3 year duration] and the Doctor of Laws [4-year duration].

An international Master of Laws degree is offered in English for domestic and international students as a one-year full-time program. A part-time program is available for students who need a flexible educational program that can be completed in two years. Students can also opt for a joint programme offered in partnership with the University of Leicester and Utrecht University. Students are trained in research and the strong relationship the institution has with local businesses helps students. The Faculty of Law offers approximately 50 courses, with English as the language of instruction. I decided to study law later in life, so I`m a bit older than most of the other students here. I have a lot of experience in life and I can say that Tallinn University offers more personal study than some other universities. The professors at Tallinn University are really good – lawyers really need that deep critical thinking and that`s what the professors are teaching us here. They are also trying to guide us in the right direction. I`m glad we can discuss everything – the speakers are very dedicated to their topics. You have a fire in you! I appreciate the material they share with us. I feel there is a personal contact between students and teachers – it`s great!
